List of magical creatures in Winx Club

This is a list of monsters seen on Winx Club in order of appearance.

Monster List

* Ghoul: Small, red monsters that appeared in the first episode. They were used by Knut in two failed attempts to capture Stella's ring, both in the first episode.
* Hunter Troll: The type of troll that Knut used to track Stella and Bloom. With the help of the Red Fountain Specialists, they defeated it and the Specialists took it to Red Fountain. Later on, the Red Fountain Specialists had to escort the Hunter Troll to Magix to give to a mind sorcerer. When the Hunter Troll escaped, the Trix beat the Winx Club and the Red Fountain Specialists to it and sent the troll to limbo. Some Hunter Trolls live in Wildland.
* Snake Rat: A venomous swamp creature that causes instant projectile vomiting with one bite.
* Subterranean Sludge Slug: A slug that lives in Black-Mud Swamp.
* Griffin: The Griffin was mentioned as one of the monsters that Red Fountain has in its stables. Some Griffins live in the Barrier Mountains.
* Bingledip Beast: Another monster mentioned that was in the stables at Red Fountain.
* Red Catapos: Small red insects that can kill a fairy with one bite. They are commonly seen in the Harmonic realms.
* Unnamed Slime Monster: A slime-like monster with multiple eyes and mouths. Legend says that if it touches you, you cannot get its stinky odor off of you for weeks, even if you use magical shampoo.
* Puncture Beetle: A beetle-like monster commonly seen in the realm of Magix.
* Cretan Minotaur: A four-armed minotaur that was used by the Trix to attack the Winx Club (who had their powers diluted). The minotaur was used to distract the Winx girls while the Trix were looking for the real location of the DragonFire. It was defeated and taken away by the specialists.
* Island Turtle: A resident of the swamp where the Junior League lives. When the Wendigo Willow was on its back, it went berserk until the Willow was vanquished.
* Wendigo Willow: A parasitic tree that emits sleeping gas when it was planted on the back of an Island Turtle. It steals the nutrients of the swamp where the "island" is located, threatening the lives of all who inhabit it. The Winx Club were able to vanquish it.
* Craven: A crow/raven monster that the Trix use for aerial reconnaissance missions.
* Nightmare Gargoyle: The Nightmare Gargoyle is a type of gargoyle that gets more powerful whenever it feeds off nightmares. When it gets powerful, its body shape changes and grows larger. The Nightmare Gargoyle was vanquished by Professor Faragonda (who dealt with one back when she was the age of the Winx Club girls).
* Dragons: One of the many creatures living in the magic universe. Some of them are in Red Fountain's stables. The Great Dragon is the dragon responsible for creating the magical universe and its power was on Sparks where it rested and some of the power is within Bloom. Some Dragons live in Wildland and the Realm of Pyros.
* Army of Decay: A bunch of monsters made of rot and decay that can be summoned by whoever evil has the DragonFire (namely the Trix). If the person that has control over the Army of Decay is defeated, the army disappears.
* Snow Monster: A big, tusked, furry monster with ice spikes on its back that resided on the frozen Sparks. It took the combined powers of Flora, Tecna, Musa, and Stella to vanquish it.
* Ice Crabs: Crabs that are made of ice and can kill a fairy with their touch.
* Unnamed Spider Monsters: Spider-like monsters with scary grinning faces that live near Cloud Tower. The queen of these monsters is bigger than any of them and is pink instead of green.
* Arachni-cam: A spider-like monster with an eyeball on its back. The eye on its back is used as a camera, either for surveillance or to spy on other creatures.
* Keborg - Darkar's favourite shadow bat and his loyal servant. Darkar sends him out to act as a spy and sometimes turns him into various creatures to further his nefarious schemes.
* Hell's Mastiff: One of Lord Darkar's monster servants.
* Spit Monster: One of Lord Darkar's monster servants.
* Brute Monster: One of Lord Darkar's monster servants.
* Cave Spirits: Spirits said to live in Downland. They are the keepers of Downland, and if they get angry, they send out monsters.
* Wumble Worm: Worms that are said in Eraklyon to bring good luck to you, and the early bird gets to eat one.
* Guard Worm: A giant worm that lives in Downland and serves as its protector and bodyguard.
* Magi-Beavers: Beavers that live in Magix. You do not want to make them mad, or they will chew up the tree you're in and knock it down like they did with Sky and Brandon.
* Leodragerus: A dragon/lion creature said to be extinct. Lord Darkar created it from Kerbog to attack Red Fountain. When defeated, it reverted back to Kerbog.
* The Angel of Doom: A legendary creature that is said to be a myth. He isolates the strongest of the groups, and drains their powers. He disguises himself as a hero or paladin, just to gain everyone's trust. When the three planets align, he shows his true form and identity, and kills everyone. Tecna believed that Professor Avalon (the fake one who worked for Lord Darkar) was the Angel of Doom, but she was proven wrong in the end.
* Unnamed Shapeshifting Monster: This unnamed shapeshifting monster lives in the realm of Grim. It first appears to be a wolf-like creature with a rightside-up head and an upside-down body, then it changes into a four-armed flying bug-like monster with claws. One was defeated with the converged powers of all six members of the Winx Club.
* Winged Liger: An endangered monster that was only mentioned by one of the Wrong Righters members as one of their goals to save.
* Herclesaur: A dinosaur-like monster who lives in Wildland. The Herclesaur is a gentle monster that eats plants. The male Herclesaur keeps watch over the sleeping female Herclesaur.
* Octaceratops: Another creature said to be extinct. It has three horns on its head like a "Triceratops" and a huge axe in its hand. Lord Darkar also created it from Kerbog to make sure that no one could stop him and Bloom (who was under Darkar's spell) from entering Realix. While the powers of Flora, Tecna, Musa, Stella, and Layla had no effect on it, it was defeated by the combined powers of Principal Feragonda, Principal Griffin, and Professor Codatorta (after which Principal Faragonda & Principal Griffin destroyed Kerbog with a single blast after it reverted back).
* Ice Snakes: Ice-breathing snakes that live in the Omega Dimension.
* Mer-monsters: A name referred to the mermaids of Tides turned into monsters by Baltor and the Trix.
* Ice Spirits: Frozen spirits that live in the Barrier Mountains. They are the keepers of the Mirror of Truth.
* Kraken: A squid-like monster that lives in the oceans on Tides.
* Storm Harpy: A flock of them live in Linphea.
* Giant Ladybug: In Linphea, where technology is forbidden, the Winx Club uses giant ladybugs to move around. The ladybugs are intelligent and are able to obey commands.
