SportsPlus is a sports channel based in the Philippines. It is an extension of Solar Sports, part of the Solar Entertainment group.

Programming

SportsPlus was introduced to the public in 2002. It shows a variety of sports programs. Unlike Solar Sports, SportsPlus broadcasts football, tennis, table tennis, golf, to name a few.Here are some of the programs they offer:
* 2006 FIFA World Cup (broadcast to start June 10, 2006)
* 2006 French Open
* U.S. Open
* PGA Tour

2006 FIFA World Cup

SportsPlus started televising the World Cup since the 2002 World Cup. SportsPlus will be televising live matches daily. It is the only authorized local channel (with the exception of STAR Sports and ESPN, for they are broadcasting as well) to air the World Cup.
