In the United States, only four songs of the Canadian version "The Release" were featured on the same name album, along with four tracks from the "Punishments" EP.

  • 1985 Beginning of the End The title song was re-released on the Canadian version of "Premeditated Murder"
  • 1986 Age of the Dark Renaissance First commercially available demo tape combining death metal sounds with ambient soundscapes
  • 1987 Shrine was the first studio effort produced by Brian Taylor for Diabolic Force records (Sacrifice, Slaughter), some of this material was released on the Canadian version of "The Release" and on the U.S. version of "Premeditated Murder"
