Trevor Grahl

Trevor Grahl

Trevor Grahl (born in 1984 in Rankin, Ontario) is a Canadian composer and organist.

As the winner of the McGill-CBC composition competition, his Piano Preludes (2005) were performed by pianist Kyoko Hashimoto and broadcast on CBC Radio 2. Grahl's works also include "Le violon extraordinaire de Fifi Labranche" (2005), "Urquitaqtuq" (2007), Symphony No. 1 (1999-2000) and "The Village Blacksmith" (2003) on a text by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. His works have been performed by the [http://www.drso.ca/ Deep River Symphony Orchestra] , the [http://www.valleyfestival.ca/ Valley Festival Chorus and Orchestra] and McGill Wind Symphony among others.

Grahl currently resides in San Diego, where he attends University of California, San Diego in the school's Composition Masters Program.
