TransAfrica Forum

TransAfrica Forum is a non-profit, global justice organization focusing on conditions in Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. The organization sponsors seminars, , public awareness campaigns, and training programs that promote human rights and alternative perspectives on the economic, political, and moral ramifications of U.S. foreign policy.

The work of TransAfrica Forum is summarized by the words from a section of the declaration of the 5th Pan-African Congress (1945), which reads in part:"We believe the success of Afro-Americans is bound up with the emancipation of all African peoples and also other dependent peoples and laboring classes everywhere."
