Spring Street is a station on the IND Eighth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at Spring Street and Sixth Avenue in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, it is served by the NYCS|E train at all times and by the NYCS|C at all times except late nights, when it is replaced by the NYCS|A.
This local station has four tracks and two side platforms. There are platform-level fare controls and exits to Spring Street at the south ends of both platforms, along with a crossunder. The southbound platform has a center exit to Van Dam Street. Wall tiling suggests that fare controls and a crossunder have been removed from the north end of the station.
