"The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage", shortened to "The Only Difference" for radio and convenience, is a song by Ryan Ross for Panic at the Disco's debut, "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out". It was released as a radio-only single, therefore no music video was made for it.

Like several of Panic at the Disco's song titles on "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out", the title of this track is a direct quote from the novel "Survivor" by Chuck Palahniuk.

Remix

The "Tommie Sunshine" Brooklyn Fire Remix, which is featured in the film Snakes On A Plane, is the B-side to I Write Sins Not Tragedies. It differs slightly from the original in tempo and lyrics.
