Egypt (media personality)

"Egypt" is co-host of " The Ed Lover Show" at their flagship station WWPR-FM, She is from Philadelphia, PA. Since May 2006, replacing the recently cancelled Star & Buc Wild on NY radio station [http://www.power1051fm.com Power 105.1] . She was a weekend DJ at the hip-hop station.

Egypt worked the midday shift at WBLS-FM, for two years before leaving in 2003. Prior to working in New York City, she worked in Baltimore at 92Q WERQ-FM and was recognized by Baltimore Magazine as the “#1 personality in the City.” She was once an on-air talent and music director at The Beat 100.3 (WPHI-FM), located in her native city, Philadelphia.

Egypt was the host of WB's nationally syndicated tv show "Home Delivery" and has been featured in KING, Sister to Sister, Black Elegance, Vibe Vixen, Source, and Jolie magazines. She also appeared in commercials on BET for the Rap It Up movement.

Egypt makes occasional appearances on The Maury Povich Show as a correspondent.

Egypt has an interest in acting. She attended the New York University Tisch School of Arts and Temple University in Philadelphia. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media. Egypt once co-hosted with Ray J, on the nationally-aired UPN program,“The Source Sound Lab’’. She has guest hosted BET shows like Planet Groove, Rap City and BET Live.

Egypt made a cameo in the music video "Back Like That" with Ghostface and Ne-Yo.

Egypt also threaten to sue Eygpt(Neveen) from PK's Playouse and The Bad Girls Club if she didn't stop using the name Egypt.
