Case Study

On Friday 4th April, Show Racism The Red Card organised a question and answer session for students at Westminster Academy. Following an inspriational video students were given the opportunity to ask "searching" questions of a panel led by Sunil Patel. The panelists included, QPR footballers Damien Delaney and Zeshan Rehman, Ex QPR & West Ham legend Leroy Rosenior and Leeds assistant manager Dave Bassett.

Throughout the Q&A session, the students were able to field their questions related to racism in sport. A number of lucky students were awarded with match tickets, with one student walking away on the day with a signed QPR shirt.

In response to the successful day, a number of follow up presentations are due to be made to other students at the Academy during lead lessons and assemblies.
