There are a number of Benedictine Anglican religious orders, some of them using the name Order of St. Benedict (OSB). Just like their Roman Catholic counterparts, each abbey / priory / convent is independent of each other. The vows are not made to an order, but to a local incarnation of the order, hence each individual order is free to develop its own character and charism, yet each under a common rule of life after the precepts of St. Benedict. Most of the communities include a confraternity of oblates. The order consists of a number of independent communities:
England
- Alton, Hampshire (Alton Abbey). An abbey of monks founded in 1884.
- Stoulton, Worcestershire (Mucknell Abbey). A mixed-sex abbey with an ecumenical focus founded in 1941, and previously located at Burford Priory.
- Edgware, Middlesex (The Community of St. Mary at the Cross). A mixed Anglican-Ethiopian Orthodox abbey of nuns, with a mission to pastoral care of the elderly. This is the oldest extant community, having been established in 1866.
- Newbury, Berkshire (Elmore Abbey). An abbey of monks, founded in 1914 (previously at Nashdom).
- West Malling, Kent (Malling Abbey). An abbey of nuns founded in 1891.
Australia
- Camperdown, Victoria (St Mark's Abbey). A mixed-sex monastery founded in 1975.
- Taminick, Victoria (Community of Christ the King). A community of nuns founded in 1993.
Republic of Korea
- Pusan, Korea. A convent of the Anglican Church of Korea founded in 1993.
United States
- Washington, DC (Benedictine Companions of St. Paul~OSB).[1] A mixed sex monastery founded in 2010 and attached to St. Paul's Parish
- Donnellson, Iowa (Abbey of Saint Benedict of Companions of Saint Luke~OSB).[2]
- Natchez, Mississippi (St. Joseph's Monastery.[3] An Anglo-Catholic monastery founded in 2001.
- Phoenix, Arizona (Servants of Christ Priory). A priory of monks founded in 1968.
- Three Rivers, Michigan (St. Gregory's Abbey). A community of monks founded in 1939.
Non-OSB Benedictines within the Anglican Communion
- Company of Jesus (Anglican), CJ, a Benedictine and Franciscan Community in the U.S., Canada and Brazil[4]
- Order of the Holy Cross, OHC, with houses in the U.S., Canada, and South Africa
