Simon Ellis

Simon (from Bradford) was a graphic arts student In Preston lancs. In 1984 he moved to London to work as a Graphic Designer for companies such as Fitch & Co. and Robinson Lambie Nairn. In 1988 Simon joined Nick beggs and Austin howard, and subsequently formed Ellis, Beggs, and Howard, recording one album for BMG records, "Homelands". This album produced one hit single, "Big Bubbles No Troubles". The band split in 1991. Simon then became a tour musical director, touring with Artists like Mica Paris, East 17, Belinda Carlisle, Jamelia, D:Ream, S Club 7 and The Spice Girls.

Simon was Musical Director on the 1998 Spice Girls world tour and the 2008 'Return Of The Spice Girls' sell out world tour.

After the 1998 Spice Girls tour Simon began a very successful career songwriting and producing, writing and producing many hits, including "Two In A Million", Never Had A Dream Come True" and "Don't Stop Movin'" for S Club 7. "Never Had A Dream Come True" was No. 1 in the UK charts, No.5 in the US charts and was nominated for an Ivor Novello award for best song. "Don't Stop Movin'", also a UK No. 1, won a Brit award for best song and was voted ITV "record of the year" for 2001.

Recently he has been producing for X Factor contestant Maria Lawson, including the hit single "Sleepwalking", and for artist "I Am Finn", co-producing his first single "Hard".
