Mario Vazquez Raña

Mario Vázquez Raña (born 7 June 1932, in Mexico City) is a Mexican businessman and sports administrator, who has served on both national and Olympic committees. His several years of administration have been a synonim of corruption, inefficiency and no development for Mexican sports. On 5 April 2008, Vázquez Raña received international press attention for his statement that the situation in Tibet "is a Chinese problem" that is "not an issue for the Olympic Games."
