Reggie Jefferson

Reggie Jefferson

Reginald Jirod Jefferson (born September 25, 1968 in Tallahassee, Florida) is a former designated hitter that played for the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners and the Boston Red Sox. He played from by|1991 to by|1999. He was traded in the winter of by|1993 by Cleveland to Seattle for speedy shortstop Omar Vizquel.

Reggie attended Lincoln High School in Tallahassee; he was a three-sport star, lettering in baseball, basketball and football. He is currently a hitting coach for the University of South Florida baseball team.
