The "La Crosse Tribune" is a newspaper published in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The La Crosse Tribune paper covers the tri-state area of Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota.

History

The La Crosse Tribune was born in 1904 due to public dissatisfaction and distrust created by a light and power monopoly in La Crosse.The Tribune has been at 401 N. Third St. in downtown La Crosse since moving into a new building in 1973. The building was in the mid-1990s to accommodate a regional distribution center. It is Part of the River Valley Newspaper Group which includes two daily newspapers, The La Crosse Tribune and Winona Daily News, plus 8 weekly papers Coulee News, The Jackson County Chronicle, Holmen Courier, Houston County News, Onalaska Life, Tomah Journal, Vernon Broadcaster & Westby Times as well as 4 weekly Foxxy Shoppers covering Sparta, Tomah, Viroqua, La Crosse Wisconsin, and Winona Minnesota and Finally a monthly Home Buyers Guide as well as several special publications covering many aspects of River Valley life.
