"You've Got Another Thing Comin'" is a song by British heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was originally released on their 1982 album "Screaming for Vengeance" as a filler track, and released as a single later that year. In May, 2006 VH1 ranked it fifth on their list of the 40 Greatest Metal Songs. ["VH1 40 Greatest Metal Songs", 1-4 May 2006, "VH1" Channel, reported by [http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/the_greatest/103446/episode_this_list.jhtml VH1.com] ; last accessed September 10, 2006.] It was also featured in the soundtrack of "", as one of the songs playing on Rock station .

A cover of the song also appears on the 2005 PlayStation 2 music video game, "Guitar Hero", as a playable song. However, the game incorrectly states that the song's title is "You Got Another Thing Comin'". The song also appears as a downloadable track in the Xbox 360 version of "Guitar Hero II".

It appears also in "Prey", as a selectable song in the jukebox of the bar owned by the protagonist's girlfriend, as well as a playable song in the Playstation 2 game SingStar Amped.

This song is on "Rock Band" as downloadable content, alongside the rest of the album "Screaming for Vengeance".

Perhaps the most obscure version of this song is by legendary R&B/swing singer Pat Boone, off his 1997 album "".

The title of the song is an example in which eagerness to avoid error leads to error. The original expression is the last part of a deliberately ungrammatical joke: “If that’s what you think, you’ve got another think coming.”

The guitar solo in the song is played by Glenn Tipton.

The phrase "You've got another thing coming" is an eggcorn of "You've got another think coming".
