Hans Pontus Farnerud (born June 4, 1980 in Helsingborg) is a Swedish football player who currently plays for Stabæk. He signed a three-and-a-half year contract with the club on July 23, 2008.

He has previously played for Landskrona BoIS in Sweden and AS Monaco and Racing Strasbourg, in France, and for Sporting CP in Portugal. He's the older brother of Alexander Farnerud.

He plays for his national team since 2001, and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2004 European Championships.
