Stuart Naysmith (played by Terence Meynard) was a fictional footballer on Sky One's television drama "Dream Team". He was a central defender and manager for Harchester United. He was the father of Ryan Naysmith, who also played for Harchester.

Naysmith joined Harchester from Manchester City during the 2002 summer transfer window. He was described a solid former-England star who was to boost the Harchester defence.

He played two seasons in Harchester, though a recurring knee injury would eventually end his playing career after playing with the injury against Manchester City. He became a player-manager shortly before his playing career ended. After being released from his managerial position, Stuart planned on going to the media about match fixing allegations against himself and the club. After a fail assassination plot by Pilar Hernandez, Stuart was forced to leave the country under witness protection.
