Luke Patten (born 9 January 1980 in Bulli, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league player for the Bulldogs club in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. An Illawarra junior, Patten previously played for the Illawarra Steelers and the St George Illawarra Dragons. His position of choice is at fullback.

Patten has acquired the nickname "General" because of his surname's similarity to that of General Patton.

Patten and Sydney Roosters forward Craig Fitzgibbon are the only two former Illawarra Stellers players who are current playing the NRL.
