"The Back Seat of My Car" is a song by Paul McCartney which ends the "Ram" album and was released as a single in the UK - peaking at #39 John Lennon felt that this song, among others on the album, were directed at him. In particular, the protagonists who sing "we believe that we can't be wrong" are believed to be himself and Yoko Ono thus inscluding the dog.

Paul first presented this song in a very late period "Beach Boys" style for the group's consideration at the 14 January, 1969 "Let It Be Sessions" at Twickenham studios.
