University of Oklahoma College of Architecture

The University of Oklahoma College of Architecture is the architecture unit of the University of Oklahoma in Norman. It has an enrollment of 618 undergraduates and 91 graduates. The college as it stands now was formed in 1970 as the College of Environmental Design. It was renamed the College of Architecture in 1984. Architecture was formally established at OU in 1926 under the College of Engineering. In 1948, renowned architect Bruce Goff was appointed chairman of the School of Architecture. Currently, award-winning, Harvard-educated architect Bob G. Fillpott serves as Dean.

In Norman, most classes are held in Gould Hall while some classes are held in the Carnegie Building. Several graduate level architecture classes are also offered at the Tulsa campus.
