Target drone

Target drone

An target drone is an unmanned, remote controlled aerial vehicle, usually used in the training of anti-aircraft crews.

In its simplest form target drones often resemble radio controlled model aircraft. More modern drones sometimes use counter measures, radars and similar divices to mimic real aircraft.

Obsolete jet and propeller-powered aircraft have also been modified into remote controlled drones.
