Florin Lovin, (born February 11, 1982 in Piatra Neamţ), is a Romanian football player, currently under contract with Steaua Bucureşti. He plays mainly as central defensive midfielder.

Club career

*Lovin also played for FCM Bacău between 2001 and 2005, prior to joining Steaua.

*Steaua have signed Bacău's Florin Lovin for a fee of € 150.000.

*May 25, 2002: Made his Divizia A debut in the FCM Bacau 1-2 defeat at FC National.

*As of January 1, 2008, he played 132 games in Liga I scoring three goals.

*On 7 July 2008 he was sent by Steaua's coach Marius Lăcătuş to Steaua II Bucureşti for the indiscipline on training. Steaua's board have announced that Lovin has been transfer-listed.

*8 July 2008: Gigi Becali said that he wouldn't let Lovin go for less than €800k.

*23 July 2008: Steaua's coach called back to first team.
