Huntington Hospital (formerly Huntington Memorial Hospital) is a 525-bed hospital in Pasadena, California.

Huntington Hospital serves as the trauma center for the San Gabriel Valley Area and nearby communities. It is one of 13 trauma centers in Los Angeles County.

History

Huntington Hospital is a non-profit, community-based medical center, which provides a full complement of acute medical care and community services. The hospital is a regional center for trauma, neonatology and high-risk perinatal care and offers the only pediatric intensive care unit in the San Gabriel Valley region. It is a teaching affiliate of the University of Southern California School of Medicine and is accredited by the Joint Commission. Eight community groups assist the hospital in many ways -- staffing the gift shop, sponsoring new equipment, supporting medical research and renovating patient care areas. These support groups annually raise approximately $450,000 and include: Altadena Guild; The Circle of Huntington Memorial Hospital; Fall Food and Wine Committee; La Canada Flintridge Guild; H.E.A.R.T.; National Charity League Juniors; San Marino Guild and the Women's Auxiliary.
