The Spot is a locality in south-eastern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The Spot is located in the south-eastern part of the suburb of Randwick, around the intersection of Perouse Road and St Pauls Street. The post office there is known as St Pauls 2031. It is a vibrant part of Randwick and consists of a collection of shops, restaurants, cafes and a cinema.
The Spot is a heritage conservation area (see DCP 22 of Randwick City Council) and has many heritage listed buildings. One is the [http://www.ritzcinema.com.au Randwick Ritz] , an Art Deco cinema located in St Pauls Street, which has been extended to provide six screens. Pan Arcadian House across the road is also heritage listed. There are also a number of popular Thai restaurants in The Spot.
The Royal Hotel and Randwick shopping centre are a short distance away. The area is well served by public transport with regular buses from the Sydney CBD and Bondi Junction.
