Master Pierce Rayer

In the video game, , the leader of the Earth Federation's "White Dingo" Australian mobile suit team is Master Pierce Rayer. He was born in the 0050s and was drafted into the Earth Federation Army in his early 20s as the One Year War was beginning. He graduated in UC 0079 as a Lieutenant Junior Grade, and was later assigned to the White Dingo mobile suit team operating in desolate Australia as team leader. He was formed friendships with fellow teammates Leung Lee-Fai and Maximilian Burger, and formed a fierce rivalry with Principality of Zeon ace pilot Visch Donahue. The White Dingo team served with distinction thanks to Rayer. Their kills include several Zaku IIs, Zaku Cannons, Goufs, Doms, the prototype mobile armor Rhinoceros (there were two alternate versions: A and B, with the latter armed with a Burstliner cannon) and Donahue's MS-14G Gelgoog. After the war, the Dingoes were disbanded after having served with distinction during the war. What happened to the team members after is unknown.

During his early service as a White Dingo, Rayer piloted an RGM-79 GM general purpose MS and an RGC-80 GM Cannon artillery MS. After a mission, the team were granted access to three RX-77D Guncannon Mass Production Type heavy artillery MS. During the last weeks of the war, Rayer and his teammates piloted RGM-79SP GM Sniper II high-performance MS.

His name, Master P. Rayer, is a pun similar to Yuu Kajima's name. This time Master P. Rayer is a pun of "master player", intended for the player of the game.
