__NOTOC__Ballyduff ("Irish Baile Dubh") is a village in County Waterford, Ireland, on the river Blackwater. It lies on the R666 regional road about km to mi | 16 | abbr=yes | precision=0 from the town of Fermoy and km to mi | 10 | abbr=yes | precision=0 from Lismore. Ballyduff Upper is a small village with three or four pubs and a restaurant. It is also home to St Michael's Catholic Church. Ballyduff is perhaps best known for its thriving amateur dramatic society which has won national competitions for its plays and shows, and which has its home in St. Michael Hall. Meanwhile the Millennium Sports Hall, located by the local GAA pitch, provides excellent facilities for indoor sports. There also exists the historic Garda barracks which has one of the most distinctive styles of architecture in Ireland.

Update Summer 2008: There is now only one shop in the village. The Post Office and the hardware store have closed, although a second hair salon opened in October 2007. There exists 3 pubs, 2 hair saloon's, a shop, a restaurant, a garage, a health clinic, a Credit Union office, a church, a fishing lodge and a Garda barracks in the village of Ballyduff Upper.
