Dragoje Leković (Serbian Cyrillic: Драгоје Лековић; born 21 November 1967) is a retired Serbian footballer who played as a goalkeeper.

Club career

Leković was born in Sivac, Serbia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. In his country, he played mainly for lowly Yugoslav First League outfit FK Budućnost Titograd, also spending one season with country giants Red Star Belgrade; he played in 17 of 30 matches in the competition's last edition, while also starting in both legs of the domestic cup, lost to FK Partizan.

After one 1/2 seasons with another modest side, FK Mogren, Leković joined Kilmarnock FC in Scotland, where he started during most of his spell (which consisted of two full seasons and two halves), being part of the squad that conquered the Scottish Cup in 1996–97, 1–0 against Falkirk FC.

In January 1998, Leković started an unassuming stint in Spain; he experienced top flight relegation and second division promotion respectively with Sporting de Gijón and Málaga CF, but was only second-choice in both cases. He closed out his career at nearly 37, after representing Dundalk FC (two years), AEK Larnaca F.C. and Perth Glory FC.

International career

Leković gained 14 caps for Yugoslavia, his debut coming on 27 April 1988, in a 0–2 friendly loss in the Republic of Ireland.

He made the country's final roster for two FIFA World Cups: 1990 and 1998, but did not see a single minute of action at either tournament, as third-choice. He later went on to represent the Serbian national team.
