San Diego Community College District

The San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) consists of the campuses of San Diego City College, San Diego Mesa College, and San Diego Miramar College as well as six continuning education sites throughout the city of San Diego. Serving over 100,000 students, it is the second largest community college district in the state of California and one of the largest districts in the United States. SDCCD is headed by a chancellor, who acts as a chief executive officer, and a five member publicly elected Board of Trustees which also includes three students who serve a one-year term filling the student trustee position on a rotating basis.
