Riverside High School is a public school in the suburban community of Greer, South Carolina.

The school, which serves grades 9-12, is a part of Greenville County School District. The school opened in the fall of 1973 with 650 students on a 65 acre campus in a rural area near the town of Greer. Riverside boasts many services to offer students and the surrounding affluent community.

In Fall 2006, students began attending a brand new building on the same premises. As an official [http://www.epa.gov/greenbuilding/ green building] , it is one of the most energy efficient and environmentally-friendly high schools in the nation.

The student body has grown to a population of about 1,600 drawn from feeder schools Riverside Middle and Northwood Middle. The rival schools are Greer High School, Eastside High School, and J.L. Mann High School.

Four men have served as principal: John Durr, Wayne Rhodes, Charles Bayne, and, currently, Andrew Crowley.
