GM Powertrain Europe is a company created by General Motors to develop engines and transmission for the GM group.

It was known as Fiat-GM Powertrain until the termination of the GM and Fiat merger talks, and earlier as Opel Powertrain.

In South America, Fiat-GM Powertrain still lives. The only product made by the company nowadays is the 1.8L Family I engine to be fitted in the Brazilian Chevrolet Corsa-C, Chevrolet Meriva, Fiat Palio and Siena, Fiat Idea, Fiat Stilo, Fiat Doblo and Fiat Grande Punto.
