National Rowing Championships

National Rowing Championships

The National Rowing Championships of Great Britain takes place every year. In general, once every four years the event is held at Strathclyde Park, the other three years it is held in Holme Pierrepont(Nottingham). It is a major event for club rowers and some schools also participate, however, because the event is held when most public schools have ended their year, some of those schools do not turn up.

The National Rowing Championships of Great Britain 2006 was held in Strathclyde Park Loch in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. In 2007, the event was held at Holme Pierrepont.

The 2008 event is to be held in Nottingham between Friday 18th July and Sunday 20th July. Live online results can be viewed this year on the [http://res.natchamps.org.uk/ event website]
