Rampart, Los Angeles, California

Rampart is a police patrol area of the City of Los Angeles, California, United States. Although it is not a district or a set community of the city, it is a geographic area of patrol (#2) of the LAPD. It is widely known as a result of the LAPD Rampart Division scandal. The area is defined by a set of communities that are adjacent to Rampart Blvd. in this patrol area. They are listed below.

Rampart is not to be confused as a district, neighborhood, or community, as some of the following communities belong to its own district or to another neighborhood or district, such as in the case of Virgil Village, belonging to the East Hollywood area of the Hollywood district.
