Fictional character biography

Controlled by Loki

When the main Acts of Vengeance members disbanded after Loki's defeat at the hands of Thor, Loki had left them with a good-bye gift: The Tri-Sentinel, which Loki created by merging three Sentinels together and sending it to destroy a nuclear power plant. It ran afoul of a temporarily cosmic-powered Spider-Man- currently using the powers of the Captain Universe entity- who focused his blasts to destroy Tri-Sentinel.

Controlled by Life Foundation

Later on, The Life Foundation (an organization that believes in WWIII) gathered the remains of the Tri-Sentinel and rebuilt it to serve them and provide security for their 'clients'. When Carlton Drake turned it on, it rejected their directives and reinstated Loki's. Spider-Man and Nova got the task of taking the Tri-Sentinel down. As Nova uses The Life Foundation's magnetic cannon from its aircraft to slow it down, Spider-Man opened the Vibranium container, causing the Tri-Sentinel to melt before reaching a heavily-populated area. Thus, Tri-Sentinel was destroyed.
