Jerry Keeling (born August 2, 1939) was a quarterback and defensive back in the Canadian Football League. He played fifteen seasons from 1961-1975 for the Calgary Stampeders, the Ottawa Rough Riders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, where he was inducted in 1989. As a member of the Stampeders, Keeling won as the starting quarterback the 1970 Western Conference finals against the Saskatchewan Roughriders but lost the 58th Grey Cup to the Montreal Alouettes. However, he beat the Toronto Argonauts in the 59th Grey Cup in 1971. He was also the starting quarterback in 1973 as a member of the Ottawa Rough Riders that won the 61st Grey Cup, but was replaced by Rick Cassata in the Grey Cup game because of an injury.[1]
