Noatia

Noatia is one of the 21 scheduled tribes of the Tripura state of India. The tribe mainly lives in the hills of Dhalai and the North Tripura districts of the Tripura state of India. They speak the Noatia dialect of Kokborok which is of Tibeto-Burmese origin. Their appearance is mongoloid.

Noatia is also exists in South Tripura and West Tripura district. At Garjee, Kalaban & Rothaicherra under Udaipur sub-division of South Tripura there are so many Noatia family exists and in west Tripura district at Chawndul,Tuiwandal, Khamarbari and Tyuisa khandal even in at Urmai kalakhet there are so many Noatia family exists but unluckyly these are not mentioned in the record.* Tripuri people
