A Martin Mac 250 light, used mainly in smaller theatres.

Martin Light is a subdivision of the Danish company Martin Professional. Martin Professional is a producer and distributor of computer controlled lighting, also called "intelligent lighting", high technology luminaries utilized throughout all sectors of the entertainment industry. Martin is known as industry standard, meaning they are used by some of the largest stage companies world wide. They are also used in many TV programs including the popular US version of "Deal or No Deal". Martin also produces fog and haze machines giving the company the ability to offer a complete entertainment package. Other important areas of application include the growing market for indoor and outdoor architectural and promotional lighting. Martin offers both dedicated exterior luminaries and specialized lights for retail settings.

Martin's most recognizable product is the MAC Series of moving head fixtures (comprising a programmable light, via the DMX control protocol, attached to a motorized moving yoke). The MAC 2000 range has found its element in the theatrical industry due to its effects projection overlapping abilities, new barn door features, and noiseless operation. Many clubs opt for the mini mac range due to their versatility and stylish appearance, however due to the one arm yoke even the industrial sector recommend it is not used in mobile situations.

In addition to moving heads, Martin also makes flat mirror and rotating drum-style scanners, strobes, color changers, semi-intelligent effects, LED fixtures and controllers for Intelligent lighting. Their LightJockey PC based DMX controller is an industry staple. Martin had also produced the Mach sound reinforcement loudspeaker system which has been discontinued.

Most recent product additions include the Martin MAC III (a 1500w profile unit) and the Mac 301 (LED moving light wash)
