Ansi Agolli (born October 11 1982 in Tirana) is an Albanian footballer currently playing in the left back position for SK Tirana in the Albanian Superliga

Career

Agolli began his career at his hometown team, SK Tirana. He started playnig there professionally in 2001, but after making only ten appearances in the 2001/2002 season he was sent out to KS Apolonia Fier to gain some first team experience. His spell at KS Apolonia Fier was a success and so he went back to SK Tirana and quickly established himself into their first team. After spending two years at the Tirana club he was spotted by the Swiss club Neuchatel Xamax and they gave him a dream move abroad. After only one season at his new club he decided to move to another Swiss club, FC Luzern. However, things did not work out for him at Luzern either so he moved away from Switzerland on a free tranfer to play in Finland with Vaasan Palloseura. After spending one season there he decided on a loan move to his first club SK Tirana, the Albanian club put much time and money to insure that the loan deal went through. Since his loan move back to Albania, Angolli has been part of a very successful season at the club as they are top of the league already.

International career

Angolli has made 3 appearances for the Albania national football team. His has only played against Kazakhstan in 2005, and Liechtenstein and Malta in 2008. In the three games that he has played in Albania have always won by two goals or more and have only conceded one goal against Kazakhstan.
