Slash's Blues Ball is a blues cover band started by Slash of
Guns N' Roses /Velvet Revolver fame. The group toured the globe coveringblues standards during the late nineties until Slash reformed his group Snakepit in 1999. Slash formed this power blues touring band in between the gap of Snakepit's two line ups. The band did blues cover tracks such asStone Free ,Born Under A Bad Sign , Hootchie Cootchie Man, Suspicious, they also covered a few Snakepit songs, and covers known fromGN'R , such as Dylan's song "Knockin' on Heaven's Door ". They continually toured US and internationally for two years, but never brought an album out. Slash is said to have enjoyed the rest from the bigger venues and enjoyed time with his fans before and after the gigs.Band members 1996 - 1998
