Vanscoy No. 345, Saskatchewan

The Rural Municipality of Vanscoy No. 345, Saskatchewan is located southwest of the city of Saskatoon, and was established December 13, 1909. Before 1935 was known as the Rural Municipality Number 345 of Richland and then was absorbed into into Loganton on October 16, 1909 and into Vanscoy April 16, 1934. Boundaries

The boundaries of the Rural Municipality extend to the north and northwest by Corman Park No. 344, Saskatchewan, to the west side of the South Saskatchewan River, to the south by Montrose No. 315, Saskatchewan, and to the west by Perdue No. 346, Saskatchewan.To the north used to be Park Rural Municipality #375 which was disorganised on December 31, 1969. The area was assumed by Corman Park No. 344, Saskatchewan.

Population

As of the census in 2001, there were 2,617 people living in the RM of Vanscoy. It is part of the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority.

Government of the RM
