Aspropotamos, Evrytania

Aspropotamos (Ασπροπόταμος) is a municipality in the northwestern part of the Evrytania prefecture in Greece. Population 2,729 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Raptopoulo. The Aitoloakarnania prefecture is to the west and the Karditsa Prefecture to the north. Aspropotamos is located west-southwest of Karditsa, northwest of Karpenisi and north-northeast of Agrinio.

Aspropotamos has a few schools, a lyceum (middle school), a gymnasium (secondary school) a few churches, banks, a post office, and a square ("plateia"), its nearest hospital is in Agrinio.
