FF Acquisitions LLC, trading as Farm Fresh Food and Pharmacy, is a grocery store chain with forty plus stores, primarily in Virginia. Its headquarters is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia in the Chimney Hill Shopping Center, and its largest presence is in the surrounding Hampton Roads metropolitan area, although it also has a store in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based Supervalu.

History

Farm Fresh was started when people started working together to develop a neighborhood grocery store in 1957. Farm Fresh Merged with Giant Open Air Markets in 1986. It was later purchased by Richfood Holdings Inc. In August 1999 Richfood Holdings Inc. was purchased by Supervalu.
