KAMU provides over-the-air public broadcasting service to Texas A&M University, the Bryan-College Station metropolitan area, and most of surrounding Brazos County, Texas.

KAMU-TV

KAMU-TV is a full-service, PBS member station in College Station, Texas broadcasting on analog channel 15 and digital channel 12 from its transmitter near the university campus, and is owned and operated by Texas A&M University. KAMU-TV began broadcasting on February 15, 1970.

On April 1, 2003, KAMU was the first station in the region to begin broadcasting in HDTV. KAMU-FM

KAMU-FM (90.9 FM) is a public radio station located on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. It is owned and operated by the university. It began broadcasting in 1977. The radio station shares the same facility as KAMU-TV.

KAMU-FM programming includes 35 hours of local content each week. On March 30, 2007, it became the first HD Radio station in the Brazos Valley.
