Sound & Vision is an American magazine, published by Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., covering home theater, audio, video and multimedia consumer products.
Founded in 1958 as "Hi Fi & Music Review", it underwent several name changes: first, "Hi Fi & Stereo Review" in 1961, then "Stereo Review" in 1968. In 1999 "Stereo Review" merged with "Video", a magazine Hachette Filipacchi had acquired from Reese Publishing, [ [http://www.gooddealgames.com/interviews/int_Bill_Kunkel.html GoodGames.com: Bill Kunkel interview] ] to become "Stereo Review's Sound & Vision" before settling on its final name in 2000.
