Baron Haversham

Baron Haversham was a title created twice, in the Peerage of England and in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.

On 4 May 1696, John Thompson was created Baron Haversham in the Peerage of England. He had formerly been MP for Gatton. The second baron was MP for Bletchingley in 1689-1698, before inheriting the title. On his death on 11 April 1745, the barony became extinct.

On 11 January 1906, Arthur Hayter, the former Financial Secretary to the War Office, was created Baron Haversham in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. On his death on 10 May 1917, the barony became extinct.
