The President Ramon Magsaysay School of Public Governance, a public policy school and one of the eight graduate schools of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in the Philippines.

The School is headed by a Dean, and has a Council of Advisors and a Board of Visitors.

History

The President Ramon Magsaysay School of Public Governance was founded on September 27, 2002 in honor of the late President's legacy of public service based on high ethical standards and advocacy of social justice through the PLM Board Resolution No. 2522.

The School, which has a primary building located in Gusaling Don Pepe Atienza, maintains a joint program with the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in offering degrees in public policy and public administration, administers executive programs for senior government officials, and conducts research in subjects relating to politics, government, and economics.

With coordination with the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation, it makes the public lecture series of Ramon Magsaysay awardees a tradition at the PLM.cite web

The School, which offers a course in electoral administration, has tied up with the Commission on Elections to reactivate the government agency’s campaign and train leaders of colleges and universities and to educate the people about the importance of their suffrage rights, procedures of the election, a plebiscite, referendum, absentee voting, recall, manual or computerized canvassing and a party-list system, and the qualities of a good public servant.cite web
