The Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park is one of 22 Quebec provincial parks. Despite its name, it is not in Canada's national park system, nor administered by Parks Canada. It is administered by the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq). The park can be reached via a local road, 30 km northwards from Route 138 in Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs.

The park was created in 2000, and has a land area of 224,7 km². It is the centerpiece of the UNESCO Charlevoix biosphere reserve.

Many summer activities are possible in the park (it is closed in winter): Canoeing, kayaking, camping, canoe camping, water-bus cruises on the river, hiking, and biking.

There are three camp sites in the park, one of which can only be reached by canoeing on the river or by biking.

There are seven hiking trails, including one that is 9 km long with an 800 meters rise in elevation. With this trail, hikers can reach the highest summit in the park, and be treated with an awesome panorama.

No cars are allowed in the park. There is a parking at the gate, where one needs to register and pay to get access to the park. From there, visitors need to take a bus that will get them to some points in the park, and to the Draveur Service Center.
