John Clive (born 6 January 1938 in London) is an English actor. He has appeared in scores of films and TV shows and is also a best selling author.

Films he has appeared in include "The Italian Job", "The Pink Panther Strikes Again", "A Clockwork Orange", and "Yellow Submarine" (as the voice of John Lennon). His television appearances include "Robert's Robots", "Rising Damp", "The Dick Emery Show", "The Perils of Pendragon", "The Sweeney", "Great Expectations" and "The History of Mr Polly".

In the late 1970s, he co-authored his first novel, "KG 200" which became a number 1 bestseller, and also listed in the USA. It was translated into dozens of languages and became a worldwide bestseller. He followed this with another number 1 bestseller,"Broken Wings". He also wrote "The Last Liberator", "Barossa","Ark" and "The Lions Cage". All of these books were based largely on fact.

His daughter, Hannah Clive, is a singer and songwriter who has performed, toured or recorded with Ray Charles, Right Said Fred, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Chris de Burgh and others. She is currently gigging in London.
