Grammy Award for Best Long Form Music Video

The Grammy Award for Best Long Form Music Video has been awarded since 1984. A similar award for Best Short Form Music Video has also been awarded since 1984. In 1988 and 1989 the award criteria were changed and the video awards were presented for Best Concept Music Video and Best Performance Music Video. In 1990 the awards were returned to the original format.

The award has had several minor name changes:

*From 1984 to 1985 the award was known as Best Video Album
*From 1986 to 1997 it was awarded as Best Music Video, Long Form
*Since 1998 it has been awarded as Best Long Form Music Video

Years reflect the year in which the Grammy Awards were handed out, for music released in the previous year.
