William Glenn Abbott (born February 16, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas), is a former professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from by|1973-by|1981 and by|1983-by|1984. He currently serves as the pitching coach for the San Antonio Missions.

In November 1976, Abbott was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the expansion draft. He played for the Mariners longer than any other player from their original 1977 opening day roster. Abbott led all Mariners pitchers in wins in by|1977 and by|1980, winning 12 games in each of those seasons.

He is now the pitching coach for the Portland Beavers.
