Center for Urban Pedagogy

The Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP), founded in 1997 by Damon Rich with co-founders Oscar Tuazon, Stella Bugbee, Josh Breitbart, Jason Anderson, Sarah Dadush, Althea Wasow, and Rosten Woo, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Gowanus, Brooklyn, New York City. CUP educates communities about places and how they change, producing exhibitions and public programs, working with students in high schools and colleges, and designing educational tools.
